We encourage the A.R. Lord community to provide input on the upcoming provincial fiscal budget through the current consultation process.
Immediate priorities for education of A.R. Lord Students include:
- Prioritization of funding for public education
- Funding full implementation to restore class size and composition limits from the recent landmark Supreme Court of Canada ruling
- Maintaining local and accessible community schools like A.R. Lord Elementary open in our neighbourhoods
- Funding Seismic upgrades for schools to ensure the safety of students
- Supporting dedicated educational spaces in schools such as music rooms, computer labs, science and art studios, and special education rooms
