Next Tuesday on May 16th is the Last PAC Meeting of the year and will be held at 6:30pm in the library. Please join us and share your ideas on how to make our school great as well as hear directly from teachers and the Principal on education issues and priorities.
We will also be holding the PAC Executive Election. A few of our current individuals will be stepping down and we are seeking new volunteer parents to join to help lead the organization of all the great things we do at A.R. Lord.
PAC Executive positions include:
- Chair (or Co-Chairs can be shared position) - key lead and liaison for the PAC, chairs meetings
- Communications (manages correspondence, social media, email and communications)
- Treasurer - manages finances, cash, payments, bank reconciliation, cheques
- Members-at-Large - (typically upto 3 but can be more) general positions that take on various lead roles including events, hot lunch, grants, fundraising etc.
The PAC Exec lead and coordinate the many parent volunteers that our school is lucky to have. The existing PAC Exec is happy to do some training and help new members get up to speed and ready for next school year.
