Each day, a little after the bell rings and everyone settles into their classrooms, is the time for morning announcements. The older students in the school are assigned this responsibility and have the opportunity to address the school on the public announcement system. Ms. Ling, the administrative staff member, prepares the announcements and reviews the notes with the students in advance. They usually announce any special events for the day, give reminders and notifications. They also get to acknowledge any students who are celebrating a birthday.
