Indigo Fundraiser throughout the Summer
How can you help with simple fundraising over the summer (and throughout the year)?
The popular Chapters/Indigo fundraising campaign is back!
This a great way for extended family members and grandparents to support our school as well, so share the link around! You can also buy the gift cards for yourself and then use them to buy books, toys, and games for birthday and gifts, either at stores or online.
Here are your options:
- buy an Indigo eGift card on the Link to A.R. Lord Indigo campaign #23630 and 20% of the value of the card will go back to the school. That means that if you buy a $25 gift card, you get $25 and a bonus $5 credit to buy books from Indigo will go directly to Dr. A. R. Lord.
- how about a donation on behalf of someone to support our school? Make a donation directly through Direct donation to A.R. Lord
We take these funds raised and put it back into our school and purchase books for the library for all kids to enjoy!

Dr. A.R. Lord Elementary School Book Exchange
Dr. A. R. Lord staff and PAC would like to present our school’s first annual book exchange!
We would like to invite students to bring in any old books (good condition) they have outgrown to exchange for one ‘new’ book to enjoy over the summer. Books should be for children in Kindergarten to Grade 7. Collection boxes will be available outside of each classroom each morning from June 8th until June 16th where students can drop off their books before the start of the school day.
On June 18th all students (regardless of whether they were able to donate a book or not) will be invited to the gymnasium where they will be allowed to choose two ‘new’ books for free.
At the year-end BBQ on June 19th, all ‘leftover’ books will be available for sale at 50 cents each, with all proceeds going towards next year’s book exchange. We hope to see you all there!
