On Thursday, November 25th, Divisions 1 and 3 braved the intense snow to visit the beautiful Orpheum Theatre to see the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.The students loved the inside of the Orpheum, with its gorgeous painted ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and carved golden walls. They said they felt like they were kings or queens in a palace.
The music was fantastic and the students enjoyed listening for their favourite piece. The classes are excited to be able to play Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" on their recorders!
The group had a wonderful time and would like to thank the brave parents who came with them in the snow to make this field trip possible.
