Happily, the PAC is announcing an upcoming toy and equipment
drive for the New Before and After
School Care Program that will be run out of the Hastings Community Centre. The Dr. A.R. Lord PAC and the Hastings Community Association have been able to create a great solution for child care within our neighborhood for the upcoming 2014-15 year. As this will be the first year in operation, we are seeking donations to sustainably create this new school age care facility. Everyone knows the 3 R's of environmental sustainability - we are asking you to help us REUSE good quality items that are required by the Community Care and Facility Branch as part of a good child care program. Please look
around your homes, other friends and family abodes for these items. We have a drop off room located downstairs of
Hasting Community Centre in the Arts and Craft room. Additionally during the PNE, we will collecting items as noted below and arrangements can be made for direct pickup:
