"The library is the heart of our school and one of the key ways the librarian turns children into lifelong readers is by connecting every one of our students with a "just right" book. Literacy activities within our school have included the creation of a community bookshare, hosting parent workshops on how to support literacy in the home, providing support to new readers with the One-to-One Literacy program, book exchanges and the Indigo A.R. Lord Flipgive campaign.
Now for a limited time until October 10th, the Indigo Adopt as School event will bring together school teachers, students, families, and supporters along side Indigo staff, customers and the community.
