Creators Club and the Maker Movement

The creators club is supervised by Teacher Librarian Ms. McCandless and they meet once a week at lunch.  The focus is on student lead activities and also provides these young learners the opportunity to organize and teach a skill to the rest of the group.

The maker movement is simply learning by doing or "making".  It provides an active and concrete way for all to learn, discover, and create. Children work individually and in groups and sometimes trial and error is the best way to learn.
