All students and staff met yesterday for the final year end assembly at Dr. A.R. Lord Elementary. The ceremony was kicked off with words of congratulations to all students by Principal Ms. Car.Recognition and certificates of accomplishment were given to students for academic achievements including Honour Roll, Principal's List, and Super G, which is for outstanding work ethic and effort for all 3 school terms over the last year. Participants in clubs and sports activities such as the environmental club, creators, choir, track and field, cross country, volleyball, and many more were also given a round of applause.
Those students who take on responsibilities and leadership roles around the school such as Office Monitors, Library Monitors, Student Council, etc. were also highlighted for their efforts.
A fun slideshow of students in action at school throughout the year ended the assembly!
