The Dr. A.R. Lord Parent Advisory Council (PAC) has chosen a few easy online fundraisers that are low pressure, high utility, and low overhead that generate money for the school and it's students.
Our magazine fundraiser is now under way and will help the PAC
raise funds that will go directly to our wonderful little school. If
you are in the market for a new magazine subscription or need to renew
an existing one, please consider this program. We have available to us
over 500 different magazines at discounts of up to 85% off the
newsstand price.

Was your child born in 2010?  Registration for Kindergarten starting next fall begins November 2014 until January 31 2015.
On Saturday October 18th the PAC and parent volunteers sold donated clothing, toys, and children's items at the Hastings Community Centre/Family Drop in Children's Market.    Many families took the opportunity to clear out the clutter from their homes and REUSE, while raising funds for our school at the same time.   Profits will go towards supporting our teacher's classrooms with extra supplies and for special events and field trips for our children.
We are again running the Café Ético coffee and tea fundraiser and will kick off this month. Café Ético is organic and “beyond Fair Trade” supplier that buys its coffee directly from producers in Latin America.  A portion of the sales goes back to the PAC.  And all remaining profits go back to CoDevelopment Canada, a non-profit that works for human rights and social justice in Latin America.
