The salmon eggs incubating in the aquarium in Ms. Young's K-1 classroom continue to develop and are expected to emerge as alevein soon. After they grow into fry, they will be released into a nearby waterway on a future field trip. Students also learn about the lifecycle of Salmon and had a chance to inspect preserved (dead) salmon eggs up close and create beautiful art projects.
