A.R. Lord Elementary Parent Advisory Council received a Community Giving Grant from Walmart Canada. $1000 was recently presented by the Manager, Maribel Diva of Walmart Grandview. Parent Volunteer, Kendra prepared the grant application and accepted the cheque on behalf of the PAC. This generous grant is used to foster community engagement and support local neighbourhoods in which Walmart operates. Funds will be put towards the many parent led initiatives to strengthen the educational experience and community focus of our neighbourhood school.
