The 2015 Cross Country season came to a close with the final District Cross Country Meet Finals which were held on Thursday October 22nd at nearby Trout Lake. This was the East Side Vancouver all school meet and it fell on a beautiful sunny fall day. Students ran in their age and gender categories and many families attended and cheered them on. The number of participants on the school team, both new and returning, continues to be impressive for A.R. Lord Elementary. Students were diligent in practicing before school several mornings a week throughout the season and also participating in a mini-meet at Clinton Park. Great job and congratulations to all student runners ! A special mention and great big THANK YOU to parent volunteers and especially to Ms. Burke and Ms. O'Neill, the coach-teachers who organized this year's team.
